What is a CDTA Ambassador?
Are you passionate about dance and proud to be part of the CDTA community? Do you dream of inspiring others while showcasing your journey? The CDTA Ambassador Program is your chance to step into the spotlight and represent excellence in Canadian dance!
A CDTA Ambassador is more than just a talented dancer — they are role models who embody technical skill, artistry, and dedication. As a national representative of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, Ambassadors help raise awareness of our mission and values while celebrating the art of dance across the country.
As a CDTA Ambassador, you will represent the organization at performances, competitions, and dance events, while sharing your unique dance journey on social media through photoshoots, rehearsals, classes, and more. By promoting CDTA’s programs and values, you’ll help connect and inspire dancers across Canada.
Frequency Asked Question
Dancers must be enrolled at a CDTA studio or work with a CDTA certified instructor.
Dancers must have their own public profile IG account.
Dancers who are 15 and over should apply.
Dancers who have their own Instagram Account. Dancers must be a student and not a teacher or professional.
Dancers require parents/caregivers permission if they are 18 and under.
If chosen as a CDTA Ambassador, dancers will receive complimentary products from CDTA and be featured on social media and CDTA promotional materials.
Ambassadors will receive a free photo shoot in the city/location close to their residence.
Ambassadors will be able to heighten their own social media presence through recognition from a national dance organization.

how to apply
- Applicants must fill out an Application (see Fillable PDF below)
- Applicants must follow @cdtanational on Instagram.
- Applicants must share a photo and Tag @cdtanational and @cdtaambassador26 with the caption “What I Love About Dance”.
- Applicants must tag their CDTA Studio or CDTA Certified Instructor.
- Applications must be received by the deadline
- All applicants will be featured on Social Media
- Top 3 will be selected.
- The online followers will then vote for their favourite.
- The Winner will be announced in November.
